Erdogan urges to unite efforts for sake of strong, developed Türkiye
Over the past two decades, Türkiye has made significant progress in many areas of life: from high technology to education, from defence to energy, from agriculture to culture, sports, youth and healthcare.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this in an article by entitled “Together towards new goals”, published on May 13 in one of the newspapers, Anadolu reports.
The head of state noted that during all these years of his reign, the development of the country’s infrastructure remained a priority for him. “Not a single state in the world is able to increase its power without a developed network of roads, tunnels and airports. Our only goal was and remains the formation of a long-term foundation for the development of Türkiye. The significance of the work done will become clearer in the coming years. Every resident of our country will witness the enrichment of Türkiye,” the politician’s publication says.
Erdogan stressed that copying foreign technologies or assembling foreign technology cannot provide real competition with developed countries, so it is important to rely on domestic industry and developments, which is also evidenced by the first Turkish TOGG electric car.
Another important priority, the Turkish leader called the minimization of Türkiye’s energy dependence.
Erdogan drew attention to the start of the development of the Sakarya gas field in the Turkish sector of the Black Sea. “We were also able to discover large oil reserves in the country, we are betting on renewable energy. It is no coincidence that the largest solar power plant in Europe has opened in our country, the number of hydroelectric power plants is growing,” the President stated.
According to him, the biggest dream for him is to strengthen the power of his native country. In this regard, Erdogan called on fellow citizens to unite their efforts in the name of a strong and developed Türkiye.
