Erdogan, Zelenskyy to meet in Ankara for high-level discussion
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Ankara on May 15.
According to the presidential schedule, Erdoğan will welcome the Ukrainian reader at an official ceremony at the Presidential Complex at 13:00 local time (14:00 GMT+4), Caliber.Az reports.
The two leaders will then hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by an expanded bilateral meeting and a working lunch.
Later in the afternoon, Erdoğan is expected to attend an event at the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) headquarters at approximately 15:30. He is also set to participate in another official engagement beginning at 17:00.
Meanwhile, peace talks with Ukrainian, Russian, and US delegations will take place in Istanbul later today.
The US delegation to Istanbul includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio and senior envoys Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported meeting with Rubio early on May 15, saying they discussed Zelenskyy's vision for peace and coordinated positions “during this critical week.”
