EU chief announces support package for Armenia

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has held a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Von der Leyen shared a post on her conversation with the Armenian PM on social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

I spoke with @NikolPashinyan about Russia’s recent restrictions targeting Armenia.

This is nothing short of economic coercion, and it is unacceptable.

Europe stands firmly with Armenia. We are preparing a support package.

“I spoke with NikolPashinyan about Russia’s recent restrictions targeting Armenia.
