EU intends to suspend high-level visits to Georgia

The EU is mulling over the possibility of suspending high-level visits to Georgia due to the foreign agents law introduced in the country.

"As part of immediate short-term measures, the document proposes the suspension of high-level bilateral visits... a pause in discussions, negotiations and the signing of bilateral agreements as an immediate response to the current situation," Euractiv portal reports.

At the same time, it was reported that the EU also wants to suspend meetings on the association agreement as part of immediate measures.
