EU mission conducted "7,000 patrols" on Armenia-Azerbaijan border Since deployment

Members of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMA) in Armenia continue operations along the territories bordering Azerbaijan.

“Today, EUMA has reached 7,000 patrols since its deployment to the Armenian side of the border with Azerbaijan. The Mission remains committed to carry out its activities on the ground,” Caliber.Az cites the mission’s X post.

EUMA was launched on February 20, 2023, unilaterally at Armenia's request. The mission's mandate, initially set for two years, was extended on January 30, 2025, until February 19, 2027.
