EU welcomes progress in Armenia-Türkiye normalisation talks
The European Union has expressed support for the ongoing efforts to normalise relations between Armenia and Türkiye following the sixth meeting between the countries’ special representatives in Yerevan.
Magdalena Grono, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, said on X that she “warmly welcome[s] the 6th meeting between Armenian and Turkish Special Representatives Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kılıç on September 12 in Yerevan,” adding that she is “encouraged by today’s dynamics and announcements," Caliber.Az reports.

Grono emphasised that the EU is closely monitoring the normalisation and peace processes in the region and will continue supporting initiatives aimed at “lasting peace, regional cooperation, increased connectivity, and reconciliation.”
