“Every choice has a price”: Iran speaker blames US, Israel over Lebanon ceasefire breach

Iran’s Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has accused the United States of failing to uphold a ceasefire, citing a naval blockade and Israeli strikes in Lebanon.

In a post on X page on Monday (June 1), Ghalibaf said:

“The naval blockade and escalation of war crimes in Lebanon by the genocidal Zionist regime are clear evidence of U.S. noncompliance with the ceasefire.
Every choice has a price, and the bill comes due. It will all fall into place.”
