Explosion at Moscow metro station disrupts services Video

An explosion occurred at the Bitsevsky Park metro station in Moscow on February 19, temporarily disrupting metro services in the area.

Preliminary information indicates that equipment aboard a Rusich train exploded while the train was at the station, Caliber.Az reports per Russian Telegram media channel.

Eyewitnesses said passengers were directed to transfer to neighbouring metro lines as a precaution. Train traffic at the station was briefly suspended but has since resumed.

The Moscow Metro press service said passenger safety was not threatened and that the situation has been stabilised.
