Explosion at thermal power plant kills one, injures five in Armenia

An explosion at the Hrazdan thermal power plant in Armenia has resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to five others.

The incident occurred in a foundry that was not currently in operation, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

The deceased, identified as a man born in 1978, was among those affected by the blast.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that emergency services are currently on-site managing the aftermath of the explosion.
