Explosion, fire reported near hotel in east of Moscow

An explosion followed by a fire broke out near a hotel in eastern Moscow on June 30.

The incident occurred on Plekhanov Street, near the Hotel Perovo Plaza, where a metallic container reportedly exploded and caught fire, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“A loud bang was heard, followed by a fire in a metal container near the hotel. There is a potential threat to nearby buildings,” a representative of the emergency services said.
