Explosion in southeastern Iran destroys armoured vehicles

On Wednesday, February 11, an explosion struck the Mahmoudabad area of Iranshahr in southeastern Iran, destroying at least two armoured vehicles, according to the Telegram channel Halvash, which reports on events in the Sistan and Baluchestan province.

According to Iran International, sources cited by Halvash noted that the blast was heard throughout the city and that military and security forces subsequently increased their presence in the area.

Authorities have not released any official statements regarding the incident.
