“Eye for an eye”: Iran’s foreign minister warns of retaliatory response
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the country’s defence doctrine is based on an “eye for an eye” principle and envisages a firm response to any acts of “aggression.”
Writing on X, Araghchi pointed to the wider consequences of any confrontation involving Iran, Caliber.Az reports.

Any aggression against Iran, including our infrastructure, will compel a powerful and decisive response.
Those who contribute to such aggression, whatever the kind of support, will also be considered as legitimate targets.
