Famous Kazakh bank fined $6,200 for providing false data

The Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market has fined Bank CenterCredit (BCK) for providing inaccurate information to a credit bureau, Kazinform reports.
According to the agency, the administrative violation involved the bank submitting false information to the credit bureau that had been received from a credit history subject.
Bank CenterCredit was ordered to pay an administrative fine of 3.1 million tenge (approximately $6,200). The deadline for payment is set for January 28, 2026.
