The private jet was carrying General Muhammad Ali Ahmad al-Haddad, four other military officers, and three crew members when it crashed on December 23, shortly after takeoff from Ankara. All eight people on board were killed.
Libyan officials have indicated that a technical malfunction on the aircraft was the cause of the crash.
In response to the tragedy, Libya declared three days of national mourning in honour of General al-Haddad.
