Fars: Widow of former Iranian Supreme Leader alive

The widow of the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, has been confirmed to be alive, Fars News Agency reports.

Earlier reports suggesting that she had died were incorrect.

“We report that the spouse of the Supreme Leader, who was believed to have died as a martyr, is alive. Initial reports on this matter were mistaken,” the agency noted.
