Fatal blaze engulfs auto repair garage in Tehran, one killed VIDEO
A man has died following a fire at a car repair workshop in Tehran, Iranian media report.
The blaze broke out in the Majidiyeh district of the capital on February 12, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
Officials said the fire started inside a workshop covering around 40 square metres, where two vehicles – a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Kia Rio – were parked.
The flames spread rapidly throughout the building, engulfing both cars.
A 35-year-old man became trapped inside the workshop during the fire. Emergency crews pulled him from the burning structure and handed him over to paramedics, but he later died from severe burns, doctors said.
Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby buildings. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.
