Fidan: Türkiye welcomes Azerbaijan and Armenia’s steps toward peace

Türkiye has positively assessed the steps taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia to achieve lasting peace and ensure regional stability.

According to APA, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the remarks at a press conference following an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States.

The minister noted that the measures taken demonstrate that the peace process in the South Caucasus is beginning to yield tangible results.

“Our main goal is to preserve these steps and ultimately solidify them with a comprehensive peace agreement,” Fidan emphasised.
