Fighter jet crashes in central Iran due to technical fault UPDATED

An F-7 jet fighter has crashed, killing two people on board, in the Iranian eastern province of Isfahan.
A deputy governor of Isfahan for political, security, and social affairs said, Mohammad Reza Jan-Nesari told IRNA that the accident happened near the city of Anarak, on May 24.
Pilot Major Qasem Zamani and co-pilot First Lieutenant Mohammad Javad Bai were killed in training.
The head of the public relations department of the Iranian Army in Isfahan, Colonel Motamedi, told ISNA that the training jet of Isfahan's Shahid Babai 8th Airbase crashed due to a technical fault.
