Fire breaks out at Imperial residential complex in St Petersburg VIDEO

A major fire has broken out in a penthouse on the roof of the Imperial residential complex in St Petersburg, according to Baza.

The fire has covered an area of about 100 square metres, while thick smoke is visible from different parts of the city. Firefighters are working at the scene.

Luxury flats in the business-class residential complex cost up to 90 million roubles (more than $1 million). Its rooftop penthouses feature private terraces with panoramic views, high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Access to the roof is restricted to property owners.
