Fire breaks out in Kazakhstan's Almaty Zoo overnight PHOTO

A fire broke out overnight at Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan, but no people or animals were injured, local authorities said.
According to the city's Emergency Situations Department, the blaze started in a photography studio on the zoo grounds before spreading to electric sightseeing vehicles operated by a tenant. Firefighters brought the situation under control, extinguishing the fire over an area of approximately 25 square metres, Caliber.Az reports per Kazakh media.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
In a statement, the zoo's press office said the institution's property was not significantly affected by the incident. It added that all staff members and animals were safe and unharmed.
