Fire breaks out on dry cargo ship in Türkiye's Samsun PHOTO

A fire has erupted aboard a dry cargo ship in the Turkish port of Samsun, prompting immediate action from local fire brigades.
According to TRT Haber, crews are still working to control the blaze, Caliber.Az reports.
The fire broke out in the engine room of the vessel, named Firuze G, which was moored at the Sanayi Rihtim dock.
Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı confirmed that all 33 crew members aboard the ship were safely evacuated without injury. He also assured that all necessary safety measures were swiftly put in place to manage the situation.
Samsun, a vital port for Türkiye, handles a variety of shipments to international destinations, and authorities are working to minimize disruptions caused by the incident.
