Media: Firefighters battling blaze near chemical plant in Türkiye’s Tuzla

Firefighters are currently working to contain a fire that broke out in a pallet storage area near a chemical production plant in Tuzla district, Türkiye. 

The cause of the fire is still unknown. The flames initially engulfed the exterior of the chemical plant, which is situated in the Orhanlı industrial zone. The fire quickly spread to a nearby area where pallets were stored, intensifying rapidly and threatening further damage, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Upon receiving the emergency alert, numerous firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene. Efforts are ongoing to prevent the fire from reaching the main factory, as fire crews continue battling the flames.

Authorities have not reported any casualties at this time, and the situation is still developing. Emergency teams are on-site working to contain the fire and assess the damage. Further updates are expected as the situation progresses.
