First Moscow flight in two months departs Tehran

A flight operated by Mahan Air departed from Tehran to Moscow, marking the first such service since February 26, according to RIA Novosti.

Citing the information service of Sheremetyevo International Airport, the report said the flight was scheduled to arrive at 9:18 a.m. local time at Terminal C.

Departures are operated from Imam Khomeini International Airport.

Air traffic in Iran had been suspended on February 28 following the start of a military operation by the United States and Israel against Iran, halting flights for nearly two months.
