First night time rehearsal of Victory Parade took place in Moscow

The first night training of parade units and military equipment on foot, which will take part in the parade in honor of the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on Red Square, has ended in Moscow, TASS reports.

According to the information of the Russian military department, before training in Moscow, parade units and crews of military equipment conducted 13 joint trainings at a special site, which is a model of Red Square, at the Alabino training ground.

This year, on May 9, 33 ceremonial units with a total number of more than 10,000 military personnel will march along the main square of the country, including officers, sergeants and soldiers of formations and military units of the Western Military District, students and cadets of military educational institutions, students of the Suvorov military and Nakhimov schools, the cadet corps, Yunarmiya members and representatives of other law enforcement agencies and the All-Russian Cossack Society.

As part of the mechanized column, spectators of the military parade will see 131 samples of military equipment. According to the Ministry of Defense, the columns include Typhoon armored vehicles, Tornado-G MLRS based on the Ural vehicle, Iskander missile systems, S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems, and Uran-9 robotic systems. , autonomous launchers of the Yars missile system, specialized technical support and maintenance vehicles, as well as T-34 and Armata tanks.

The second night training of the military parade on Red Square will take place on May 4, the dress rehearsal - on May 7.
