Five civilians killed in US-Israeli strikes on Isfahan province

Five civilians were killed in a morning attack by the United States and Israel on several areas of Iran’s Isfahan province, the deputy security chief of the governor of Isfahan said.

The strikes targeted the areas of Najafabad, Faridun, Mobarakeh, Aran, Bidgol, Kashan and Shahreza, Tasnim reports. 

In addition to the fatalities, several commercial premises in Isfahan were damaged, as well as farms in Aran and Bidgol and 15 residential buildings in Faridun.

The official said that Isfahan air defence forces repelled some of the attacks and shot down an Israeli Hermes drone.

Separately, Iranian media reported that a student from Tehran Medical University was killed in a bombing near Inklusion Square in Tehran.
