Five dead, seven injured in overnight strikes on Iran’s Markazi Province

As a result of strikes on residential areas in Iran’s Markazi Province in the early morning of March 16, five people were killed and seven others were injured, the province’s deputy governor said, as reported by Iran International, citing Mehr.
According to him, around 4:30 a.m., a missile hit a residential area in a village near the city of Arak, killing four people. It is also reported that the death toll may rise.
Another building in the city of Mahallat was damaged by an explosion, resulting in one death and seven injuries.
In the nearby city of Khomein, a strike hit the Imam Reza School, damaging nearby homes. No casualties were reported there.
