FM Mirzoyan downplays global recognition of Armenian “genocide” “It is no longer a priority”

Armenia Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said that international recognition of the Armenian "genocide" is not among the top priorities of Armenia's Foreign Ministry.

"As you can infer from the fact that I did not mention this issue while listing our priorities, it is not our primary task," Mirzoyan said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

Mirzoyan added, "The study of the tragic pages of our history, the investigation of the Armenian 'genocide,' or making this issue a top priority—this is definitely not on the agenda of the Armenian Foreign Ministry."
