FM Mirzoyan engages NATO delegation on Armenia’s security and democratic goals
On September 12, 2025, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received a delegation of permanent representatives from NATO member states.
According to Armenian media reports, cited by Caliber.Az, during the meeting, Minister Mirzoyan outlined Armenia’s approaches to developing partnerships with NATO and its member states, highlighting ongoing joint initiatives and exploring existing opportunities for collaboration.
He emphasised that the agreements reached on August 8 in Washington represent a significant step toward ensuring peace in the region and briefed the delegation on ongoing discussions aimed at their implementation.
In the broader context of Armenia’s foreign and security policy, Mirzoyan presented the country’s vision for strengthening democratic institutions, enhancing sustainability in a rapidly evolving world, ensuring stability in the South Caucasus, and fostering the development of bilateral relations across various sectors.
