FM: Yerevan receives new peace treaty proposals from Baku
Azerbaijan has recently sent Armenia its next proposals for a peace treaty.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan made the remarks at a joint briefing with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Berlin, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.
"We were supposed to meet with the foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan in Moscow, but the Armenian side postponed its participation. But despite this, we have submitted our proposals to the Azerbaijani side and recently received a response and new proposals for a peace treaty from Baku," he said.
Yerevan is currently studying these proposals.
Armenian is now continuing to work on the text. The negotiation process has not stopped, it continues, although not so smoothly, Mirzoyan said.
