Foggy weather conditions cause turmoil at Istanbul's airports PHOTO
The governor of Istanbul has warned of possible flight cancellations on January 3 following mass delays at the capital's airport on the previous day due to foggy weather conditions.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing Governor Ali Yerlikaya's message on his official Twitter account, a warning of possible delays for all means of transportation is to be expected.
On January 2, the national air carrier and industry titan Turkish Airlines announced the cancellation of over 100 flights while Istanbul's second international airport, Sabiha Gokcen, had to transfer over 50 flights to the city's main airport, Istanbul.
