Foreign military personnel praise Türkiye's EFES 2024 drills for seamless collaboration
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense shared a video on social media showcasing military personnel from friendly and allied countries participating in the EFES 2024 exercise, expressing their impressions.
According to Anadolu, Captain Luke Johnson, a US Marine Corps company commander, highlighted Turkey's capability to seamlessly collaborate with over 40 countries during planning and execution phases.
“Türkiye demonstrated to the global community that it can work with the US Army and many other countries at sea and on land, showcasing its ability to plan and execute diverse activities,” Johnson stated.
A lieutenant-colonel from the Azerbaijani army noted that Azerbaijani military personnel gained valuable experience through the exercises.
“The power of the Turkish soldier was evident to all participating nations,” he said.
He added that military personnel exchanged ideas and gained new insights, expressing gratitude on behalf of his unit to Türkiye for organizing the exercises.
British Army Lieutenant Henry Waterson remarked on the opportunity to appreciate Türkiye's beauty.
“From the day we arrived, my unit trained with the 19th Special Forces Brigade, engaging in various maneuvers, including helicopter landing and disembarking. It was a great chance to meet Turkish army colleagues and experience the beauty of Türkiye,” Waterson added.
