Former Iranian official labels Iran International “priority target”

Ali Bahadori Jahromi, a former spokesperson for the Iranian government under the late President Ebrahim Raisi, described the Persian-language broadcaster Iran International as a “legitimate and priority target.” 

In a post on the social media platform X, Bahadori Jahromi accused the channel of being “an integral part of hostile actions against the Islamic Republic” and suggested it could be targeted in what he called reciprocal measures, Iran International reports.

No immediate response from Iran International was reported following Bahadori Jahromi’s statement.
