French foreign minister to visit Armenia on May 26

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot will pay an official visit to Armenia on May 26.

As part of the visit, Barrot will hold a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yerevan. Following their talks, the two ministers are expected to hold a joint press conference, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media. 

In addition to official meetings, Minister Barrot will participate in a panel discussion during the Yerevan Dialogue event.

The second edition of the Yerevan Dialogue conference will take place on May 26–27, 2025, in Yerevan, under the theme “Journey through uncertainty.”

The themes on the agenda are global geopolitical trends, peace and security challenges, developments within the European Union and neighbouring regions, as well as issues of trade and transportation.

In addition, the conference will feature thematic panels on the regulation and impact of artificial intelligence and the promotion of green development strategies, the Armenian Foreign Ministry says.
