Authorities implemented heightened security measures in and around the park for the duration of the run. Seğmenler Park was temporarily closed to the public, and Macron left the area after completing the exercise to attend official NATO summit events.
Plans for the French president’s morning run had drawn significant attention on social media ahead of the summit, with public interest focused on the route and the security measures in place.
