Fuel costs force Pegasus to trim Georgia flight schedule
20 April 2026 14:40
Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has reduced a number of flights from Kutaisi International Airport scheduled for May, though the carrier has not halted operations at the airport entirely.
The airline said the decision is linked to rising fuel costs and broader schedule optimisation measures. It added that the adjustments do not affect its services from Tbilisi and Batumi, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Pegasus Airlines stressed that it continues to expand presence in the Georgian market, highlighting an increase in flight frequency from Tbilisi. The company said this reflects its ongoing strategic interest in the country.
