Gazprom halts gas supply to Armenia

Gazprom Armenia has announced a temporary suspension of natural gas deliveries to Armenia owing to emergency repair works on a section of the North Caucasus–Transcaucasia main transit pipeline located in Georgia.

According to the energy corporation, the supply interruption will remain in effect until 19:00 on July 26, Caliber.Az reports per Telegram.

Despite the disruption, uninterrupted gas supply to consumers across Armenia will continue without restrictions.

This will be ensured through the country’s internal reserves and additional imports of natural gas from Iran.
