Gazprom shareholders approve fourth straight year without dividends
Shareholders of Gazprom have approved a decision not to pay dividends for a fourth consecutive year, despite the Russian state-controlled energy giant reporting higher profits in 2025.
The decision was approved at the company's annual general meeting on Monday (June 29), according to a statement published on Gazprom's official Telegram channel.
"The meeting resolved not to declare or pay dividends based on Gazprom's 2025 financial results," the company said.
Gazprom reported that net profit attributable to shareholders under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) rose 7% last year to 1.307 trillion roubles (about $16.6 billion at current exchange rates).
The company has not paid annual dividends since shareholders received 51.03 roubles per share for the first half of 2022. At the time, the payout offered a dividend yield of about 26%.
