Gendarmerie kills particularly dangerous terrorists in southeastern Türkiye
The Turkish Gendarmerie has killed three terrorists of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Guclukonak district of Turkish southeastern Sirnak province.
Two militants were among the leaders of the criminal organization, included on the "grey list" wanted by the Turkish Interior Ministry, according to Anadolu Agency.
According to the ministry, the militants were killed in the region near Mount Gabar as part of the 15th stage of the anti-terrorist Operation named "Eren Abluka Autumn Winter".
One of the killed terrorists, Behiye Kachar, nicknamed Sylav Kocher was responsible for the activity of a branch of a terrorist organization called YJA-Star.
Besides Kachar, the "grey list" of especially dangerous terrorists of the Turkish Interior Ministry also included Yakup Demir nicknamed "Agit Nizip", operating in the so-called PKK "Special Forces" detachment.
Demir is reported to have been involved in the murder of Turkish soldier Gerkem Akkus as a result of an armed attack in the region near Mount Gabar on May 6, 2019.
Another female terrorist, Mihriban Sekmen, nicknamed "Bermal Zilan" was captured with weapons and military equipment as part of a special operation of the Turkish gendarmerie.
