Georgia, Armenia pledge deeper law enforcement cooperation PHOTO

Georgia’s Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili held an introductory meeting in Tbilisi with Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan, to discuss cooperation between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation and stressed the importance of further strengthening partnership relations between the two countries.
Attention was also given to the current situation in the region and security-related issues.
The sides noted effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Armenia and expressed readiness to continue and expand joint work.
