Georgia arrests 15 drug offenders, including foreign nationals

Georgian authorities have arrested 15 individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, including both local citizens and foreign nationals.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Georgian media, the arrests took place across multiple regions: Adjara, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti, and Kvemo Kartli. The suspects now face sentences of up to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
Police seized a range of narcotics prepared for sale, including dried cannabis, mephedrone, cocaine, alpha-PVP, thebaine, methadone, and buprenorphine. Authorities said the operation was part of an ongoing effort to combat organised drug crime in the country.
