02 June 2026 13:47
Minister of Agriculture of Georgia, David Songulashvili, is on an official visit to Belarus, where he held talks with Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko.
During the meeting, the sides discussed deepening trade and economic relations as well as expanding cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
“Agriculture is one of the leading and strategic sectors of both countries’ economies, which creates a solid basis for developing trade in agricultural products. There are significant opportunities for exporting milk and dairy products from Belarus, as well as wine and other agricultural products from Georgia to the Belarusian market,” the Georgian minister said.
