Georgia deports 54 foreign nationals in latest operation against illegal migration VIDEO
Georgia has deported 54 foreign nationals following recent operations carried out by the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, those deported included citizens of Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, the Philippines and several other countries, Caliber.Az reports.
The ministry said all of those deported have been barred from re-entering Georgia in accordance with the law.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said combating illegal migration remains one of its top priorities.
According to official figures, Georgia has deported 2,090 illegal migrants since the beginning of 2026, including 232 in January, 312 in February, 360 in March, 401 in April, 340 in May and 391 in June.
