Georgia arrests two suspected ISIS militants planning to leave country

Georgia’s State Security Service has detained two individuals on suspicion of links to the terrorist organisation Islamic State (ISIS).
Those arrested include a Georgian citizen and a foreign national. According to investigators, they had joined the ranks of the group, pledged allegiance to it, and were planning to travel abroad to participate in combat operations, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media.
During searches, law enforcement officers seized electronic devices, items bearing ISIS symbols, and other evidence.
The detainees face prison sentences ranging from 10 to 17 years if convicted.
