The Georgian government has extended financial support for Ukrainians living in the country until April 1, 2026.
Families from Ukraine affected by the ongoing conflict receive monthly allowances of 300 lari (approximately $111), while individual Ukrainians are provided with 45 lari (around $17) per month, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media.
The aid is available to those who have entered Georgia due to hostilities in Ukraine, as well as individuals eligible for permanent residence in Ukraine.
In addition to financial assistance, medical care for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia has also been extended until April 1.
The decision was formalised in a decree signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
