Georgia, FBI strengthen cooperation against global security threats PHOTO
Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Davit Kiknadze held a meeting with a representative of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Georgia, during which the sides discussed efforts to counter international threats.
The parties reviewed the results of cooperation between Georgia’s Interior Ministry and the FBI, prospects for further developing the partnership, information-sharing mechanisms, as well as future joint projects and priority areas of cooperation.
Special attention was given to combating transnational organised crime, cybercrime, and other international threats. The participants confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the law enforcement sector.
Following the meeting, the FBI representative presented Kiknadze with a letter of appreciation on behalf of the bureau’s leadership, recognising his years of cooperation, professionalism, and contribution to the development of international law enforcement partnerships.
