Georgia holds photo exhibition to mark 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev PHOTO
A photo exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, opened in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.
Report informs that the opening of the exhibition, held at the initiative of Azertac with the organizational support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, was attended by Georgian officials, members of parliament, and representatives of the public.
The photo exhibition featured rare photographs of Heydar Aliyev, reflecting various periods of his life and work, meetings with world political leaders, as well as with the former President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze.
Ambassador Faig Guliyev informed the guests in detail about the activities of the great leader, as well as his policy towards Georgia, and friendship with representatives of the Georgian people.
The exhibition was met with great interest.
