Georgia, Kazakhstan eye new era of strategic cooperation PHOTO

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has met with her Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev as part of her official visit to Kazakhstan, with the two sides emphasizing plans to elevate bilateral ties through a Strategic Partnership, the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.

The ministers underscored the significance of establishing a Strategic Partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan during the Georgian prime minister's forthcoming visit to Kazakhstan, describing the move as the beginning of a new chapter in bilateral relations that will promote comprehensive cooperation.

The sides also reviewed prospects for further strengthening Georgia-Kazakhstan relations and stressed the importance of maintaining regular dialogue at the highest and high political levels.

Particular attention was devoted to cooperation on the development of the Middle Corridor, with both ministers highlighting its strategic importance for regional connectivity. 

They also discussed ways to deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries as part of broader efforts to expand bilateral cooperation.
