Georgia PM on resignation rumours: “How many more times to disappoint you?”

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has dismissed questions about his potential resignation, responding sharply to journalists during a press briefing.

According to Caliber.Az, when asked whether he intended to step down, the Prime Minister replied:

“How many more times do I have to disappoint you? You asked me this before the parliamentary and municipal elections, and after the parliamentary and municipal elections.

You have been disappointed once, twice, three, four times — how many more times do you want me to do it?”

Irakli Kobakhidze, who has faced repeated speculation over his political future, made the remarks amid ongoing political scrutiny following recent election cycles in the country.
