Georgia prepares for visit of Turkmen President Berdimuhammedov

Georgia is preparing for the visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhammedov, Georgia's Foreign Ministry has announced.

The issue and broader bilateral cooperation were discussed during a phone call between Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and her Turkmen counterpart, Rashid Meredov, Caliber.Az reports.

Sharing a post on Facebook, the ministry stated that the two sides reviewed prospects for further developing relations between the two countries.

They also underscored the importance of strengthening Georgia's cooperation with Central Asian states.
