The reason for the refusal was Western sanctions against a number of Russian airlines, including Rossiya, Caliber.Az reports citing the Georgian media.
The Civil Aviation Agency refused for the first time from Moscow-Tbilisi-Moscow flights on May 16 while for the second time, on September 14, from Moscow-Tbilisi-Moscow; Moscow—Batumi—Moscow and St. Petersburg—Tbilisi—St. Petersburg flights.
Earlier, information appeared on the Rossiya Airlines website, according to which Rossiya Airlines will begin to make flights to Tbilisi from October 14 twice a day and to Batumi three times a week.
